Our team has recently welcomed new members for the Multicultural Breast Health Project (MBH) Edmonton. The new coordinator is Amber Khan (3rd from the right in photo) and the new Spanish community educator is Claudia Caicedo (1st from left). We are looking forward to working with the Amber and Claudia and heartily welcome them into our multicultural family. :) Others in the picture: Saida Ahmed (2nd left) - Somali Educator/Facebook Admin, Sadia Abid (3rd left) - Previous coordinator, Winnie Tan (2nd right) - Chinese Educator/Facebook Admin, Suzan Masoud (1st right) - Arabic Educator/Blog Admin.
MBH-Edmonton is a project launched by Assist Community Services Centre to promote breast health through a multilingual array of free services such as workshops, information sessions, help with referrals and scheduling mammogram appointments, and support for breast cancer patients and survivors. We serve the Chinese, South Asian, Arabic, Somali, Vietnamese and Hispanic ethnocultural communities. Our blog is your multicultural feed on breast health and lifestyle.
